IBM Announces Utility Towards Useful Quantum

IBM announced a significant breakthrough in quantum computing, demonstrating that quantum computers can produce accurate results on a scale of 100+ qubits, surpassing classical approaches. The team used the 127-qubit superconducting 'Eagle' device to generate large, entangled states that simulate the dynamics of spins in a model of material and accurately predict properties such as its magnetization.
